About Us
Welcome to O’Hara Doodles! We are an ethical and reputable breeder of Goldendoodles & Bernedoodles conveniently located in Northern California just 2 hrs from Sacramento CA, 3 hrs from San Francisco CA , Eureka Ca, & Reno NV, and 2 hrs South of Medford Oregon, We have had the pleasure of working with many families from many different states and all walks of lives. All of our puppies come with a one year health guarantee, wellness exam, microchip, first shots, age appropriate deworming, & first month of Trupanion pet insurance. Along with a care package to make the transition easier. All of our puppies are raised with love with kids, dogs, chickens and cats! We do early neurological stimulation to make sure we are producing the most well rounded puppies possible. All of our puppies are litter box trained using pine pellets from 4 weeks on, the pine smells like the outdoors so it helps greatly with potty training in the future! When you get a puppy from us we are confident you will be happy with it! (Just check our 5 star ratings on google)
At this time we do NOT breed minis, we strive to breed only the happiest and healthiest puppies possible and there are considerably more health issues associated with minis so we have made the personal decision to not add them to our breeding program at this time.
If we do not have an available companion for you we’d be happy to recommend other breeders who breed for the same goals of health, temperament and an overall spectacular addition to a deserving family!
Ask the question
Why should you get a doodle?
Doodles are a cross breed between a poodle and another breed. In our case Bernese mountain dogs and Golden retrievers. The desirable intelligence and low to non-shedding characteristics of the poodle breed compliment the loyal friendly demeanor of the golden retrievers and the bernes. The combination results in an excellent family dog, well suited for multiple roles in a the individuals life, from service animals such as therapy, guide, and assistance, to hunting companions willing to retrieve. The increased genetic diversity also allows for a decreased risk in inheritable conditions. They are gentle, loving dogs who live to please their families and as such require suitable households that will love them in return. These guys are incredibly hypoallergenic but some people may experience allergies from dander/ saliva and other pup like characteristics so it is important to have an allergy test done if you have been prone to pet allergies in the past.
